That vehicle belongs back in Texas.
It looks like a good set up for wild hog hunting. Or, southern border invasion prevention.
One of the mad max vics my team cobbled together in Jbad way back in the day was a based on a Toyota Hilux. Removed the bed entirely, then welded a flat steel plate down to create a flatbed, just for starters. Then we mounted the base of a ZSU-23-2 ( https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/53/ZU-23-2_in_Saint_Petersburg.jpg ) on top of that. Welded storage boxes all the way around the edges of the bed for the ammo cans. Fabricated a mount for a US thermal sight on the "Zeus".
Worked like a charm, and we usually had it positioned as the number 3 vehicle during movement. The only real downside was that, even after we beefed up the suspension, recoil made it difficult to put bursts on point targets. When you lit that thing off the whole truck would rock back. So you had to put your initial point of aim below the target, and then let recoil walk the burst up and across it.
Firing OFZT (HE-frag Tracer) at 2,000 rpm and close to 3,000 fps, it looked like you were throwing a solid line of exploding basketballs, each round exploding like a grenade. It wasn't a death-ray, but it'll do til the death-ray gets here.
There seemed to be something about having his PK, AK, or RPG fire being responded to by thunderbolts being thrown back at him at ground level that made hajji suddenly see the benefits of the pastural life, somewhere else. When he saw/heard/felt Zeus light off, he would suddenly be overcome by an intense desire to be anywhere else, doing something really peaceful.
