Communism and fascism are basically the same thing -- two extreme, totalitarian aspects of socialism. In communism, it is the unelected government that takes despotic control over all aspects of the lives of its people. In fascism, it is the unelected government in concert with big business that takes despotic control over all aspects of the lives of their people. Both rely on gangs of thugs roaming the streets, physically attacking anyone who expresses a point of view in conflict with the dictates of the despotic rulership. But today, the street thugs on the left (calling themselves Antifa) are supplemented by Internet thugs who fulfill the same function -- instilling fear in the minds of any possible dissidents to silence them.
