Nobody is coming for your oven we're just asking for common sense oven control. We need a registry of everyone with an oven to make sure people who shouldn't have one can't get one. Also, we're coming for your gas lines. No one needs a high capacity regulator.

Reminds me of the time a tourist bus full of jewish tourists going to auschwitz-birkenau broke down. The driver went to a local farmer and explained his problem. The farmer thought a moment and finally told the bus driver that unfortunately, he only had a small oven.
