I get a lot of shit for pointing this out.

Marvin was absolutely fucked by all those people in the town. He did everything he could to accommodate their absurd demands, but he just didn't want to get rid of his shop. It's his, he has customers for a long time, and then the concrete plant wants to have his land.

So they make his shop inaccessible. He makes it accessible on his own work and money. Then, they try to force him out by saying "You're not connected to the sewage, GTFO now." He's like "Well, I can be connected to the sewer, right?" They're like "Well, yes, BUT WE'RE NOT GOING TO DO IT."

So Marvin says "Okay, I'll do it, I'll buy everything needed and connect to the sewage system as you demand." His wife left him at some point for another man, likely the stress they were under didn't help there.

Marvin snaps. He decides to make his machine. He's cleary insane at this point, if you listen to/read his recordings/transcripts. He loads the vehicle up with a fucking arsenal, rifles, carbines, pistols. He makes gunports which he can shoot out of, but can't be shot into with any real effect.

Of course, he goes to each individual's property/place of work with the machine and fucking kills them, right? Nope. Just smashes up some buildings. He had the perfect opportunity to kill the son of the concrete plant owner- that was the guy in the construction vehicle that tried to ram Marvin shortly after his petulant rampage began.

So what did Marvin use those guns for? He shot a few power transformers. A sign or two. Didn't take a single shot at any of the dozens of cops who were climbing on his vehicle. Didn't take a single shot at any of the people who LITERALLY DESTROYED HIS LIFE.

He shouldn't be idolized. If he had taken his vengeance, then yes, he would be a hero worthy of reverence. But ultimately, all he did was give his abusers victimhood status. All of the damage he did- insured. He looks like a monster, his tormenters go free..

And I would argue that HE WAS MORALLY OBLIGATED TO KILL THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS. Yeah, I said it- because by letting them live, he ensures that they will continue to practice their abusive bullshit on other innocent people who don't have the resources to fight against a large corporation in court.

He threw a fit in a bulldozer that he built, and then offed himself. That's rather gay.

Don't get this wrong, though- I absolutely sympathize with him, he had every right to continue working out of his shop unmolested by those concrete plant assholes. And then he had every right to fucking kill them when they essentially killed him. But he didn't, because "muh Bible". GAY.

It's a microcosm of White Christians. Get fucked from every angle by every different group, and then forgive them. Vengeance is the Lord's, after all, not yours. What horseshit. I sitll think Christianity is a psyop to make people passive. It's a religion designed for slaves.

yeah exactly. Maybe, even after all the shit these mother fuckers put him through, he really couldn't kill people. He wasn't a piece of shit like them, and they all deserved death in the worst way. He really should have wasted them all, but I've never been in that position, so I can't say I would also. It's a tragedy and the bad guys win again. That's the worst part.

I would argue that killing the people who literally devoted hundreds of thousands of dollars to destroying everything you've spent your life building does not make a person a piece of shit. It makes them a hero, for removing a real life villain.

I don't remember specifics, but when I researched Killdozer, I scratched the surface of some of the people that were fucking with him. Quite influential and powerful. It's so absurd to imagine these suit-wearing faggots, with soft hands, crushing the soul of a man like Marvin- a hard worker, everyone that knew him spoke highly of him, positive attitude, friendly, generous, willing to compromise....

But I think the villains here quickly realized he was that kind of guy. They could walk all over him. Make his life a little harder this month by demanding that his access road be closed for the concrete plant- the owner of the plant is buddies with the local government people, so all he has to do is ask. "Hey, that creep, Marvin- I want his land. He won't sell it to us. Help us squeeze him out, our concrete plant is gonna make this town rich!" Fuck, it feels so slimy just typing that out.

Fuckers should've been ground into the earth with the treads of that machine. Instead, it just ended up being a coffin for a broken man.

If you can't kill in a situation like this, you're a pussy. Flat out. When is it more appropriate, besides when immediate physical violence is being used against you? They were using force against him- the police. Every demand they made of him came with a promise- "If you don't close the road like we asked, the cops will show up with guns, and force you to. If you resist them, they will beat you and throw you into a cage. If you continue to resist, you'll go to prison." That's use of force. He would've been absolutely justified in blasting all of them, every last one.

But I guess real-life doesn't have heroes, eh?

Dude was pretty inspirational in my opinion. They absolutely did him more than dirty.

Yeah, he was a pussy, he should have done it, but I don't fault him for not. He literally just wanted to be left alone. There's just some people that don't have a fighting spirit in them. There are heroes, but they don't get celebrated. Only the faggots and commies do.
