Almost every single person who believes in conspiracy theories is the furthest away from "educated" and "critical thinking" and they do not form "educated opinions" at all.
There's a handful of these folks who are like that. But the vast majority or highly ignorant, often mentally ill, obstinate, losers.
For every great conspiracy theory that is later proven correct, there are hundreds or thousands of absolute retarded garbage theories.
If it makes this site (and Voat refugees) feel better, I've seen quite a few good conspiracy theories come through, over the years, and you were proven correct. Just off the top of my head, stuff I've seen proven right from just poal alone: Fauci and gain of function research, Hunter's laptop was legit, Zelensky is part of a propaganda machine and is corrupt, schools will start to try and openly groom our children. I mean, just 4 years ago, none of this would have seem plausible.

I think it is more of a bell curve. Look at vaccination for example, the 2 most likely groups to not get the shot are the very dumb and the very very smart. You probably just know more dumb people than very smart people.
