Same. The last season I watched was about the 2016 elections. They flat out lost the plot and the writing was a gigantic mess with too much nonsense even by South Park standards.

After they completely ignored Hillary Cunton and all the AMAZING jokes they could have made about what she was doing (the fucking seizures? The falling down and being chucked into a van! Cmon!) and instead made shit jokes for an entire season I just checked out.

They also went to bat for the vaccine... Fuck them.

I tried when that one came out about Corona. It just wasn't funny or poignant. You can't make fun of both sides of an issue equally if the issue is ridiculous and there is an obvious correct position to have. Fuck mask mandates, fuck modern vaccines, fuck lockdowns, and fuck anyone who jumps on the bandwagon to strip us of our personal liberties.
