I don't have the fluid dynamics software to prove it, but that has got to be counter productive. At some point you stop going any faster and just burn more fuel and create more turbulance.

What I was thinking. The coefficient drag has to crazy on that boat. Seems more than 3 would be ridiculous

My intuition says 4 evenly spaced would be a reasonable trade off but there are definitely deminishing returns .

4 seems toe would provide crap turbulence and would only work if two motors power a single jet drive unit using dual drive units. Dual prop quad motor system to complex and useless . A tri setup surely would be a tits setup but 6 smh fuck no

It might be drag rather than turbulence, since the turbulent water is behind the boat. Turbulence would be more in play if the motors were side mounted as well.

It's the same thing. Turbulance behind the boat sucks the boat back.

Drag, being the resistance to forward motion by the engine components in the water would not be the same thing as turbulence. Turbulence, being a chaotic system would eventually reach a limit but drag increases infinitely with the number of engines introduced to the system.

Yeah, he needs to spread them out a bit.

The holeshot is ridiculous though!

Probably jumps out of the water like a spooked fish.
