My theory given the 911 call that has been released and the broken glass is that the attacker was allowed in by staff because he has been there before as a guest. The altercation happened because he refused to leave. He probably locked the husband out, who then got the hammer and broke the window to get back inside. Then confronted the guy with the hammer. The guy took the hammer from him and smacked him in the head not realizing how fragile old people are.
