I mostly used it to shred shit I printed that wasn't formatted properly, because somehow MS hasn't figured out how to make it look on the screen the way the printer's going to spit it out, and I also shredded twenty or so years of paper stacks contractors past just left in cabinets to be someone else's problem. I made it my problem. No more problem. I never broke that shredder. Kinda let down that I didn't, though I'd have been pissed if it was because of something stupid like a staple. I did break the CD shredder though.
