Hum 🤔 how many gazillion pages it could shred per hour?
I played around with it trying to test that, but I never wrote any of it down. It would definitely take a few pages at a time without throwing a fit, but I probably wouldn't go more than a dozen. Each shred feed took about five seconds. Chewed up everything I sent at it at about the same speed. It came out I'd be really impressed seeing an AI retrieve one three word phrase from the original material.
Impressive.
I mostly used it to shred shit I printed that wasn't formatted properly, because somehow MS hasn't figured out how to make it look on the screen the way the printer's going to spit it out, and I also shredded twenty or so years of paper stacks contractors past just left in cabinets to be someone else's problem. I made it my problem. No more problem.
I never broke that shredder. Kinda let down that I didn't, though I'd have been pissed if it was because of something stupid like a staple.
I did break the CD shredder though.
