It's not as popular since AOHell kind of neglected it during their tenure, but it's still something I install on every machine I set up.
Winamp3 didn't do it any favors either. Sometimes when an interface does the job well, you leave it alone because people like it.

I use it while gaming. You can put a Winamp plugin on your phone and control the songs that way instead of having to alttab
