I can relate to this. I was a libertarian because I was naïve and thought that education or just cold hard economic truth would bring people around to not being so amazingly stupid. Then 2020 happened, I realized that education doesn't work, because feelings don't care about facts. So many sheep can't or won't, or refuse to think, so badly they will kill themselves with their own compliance before they stand up for their right to work and keep themselves from being debt slaves. Humans need to be lead. The majority of them are like this. Many of my optimistic views of human behavior died over the past 2 years.
