Doctors claim modern medicine is the reason lifespans kept getting longer.

They are wrong. It was mostly civil engineers and soap companies.

Read plato’s republic. 375 BC. It says the average lifespan was 70 years old. Wtf happened? With all this modern medicine we’re basically still the same?

Do you want actual scientific evidence or my best guess?

Most average lifespan stats includes infant mortality rates. I haven't checked to see if platos republic stats does.

It does not. Plato's only looking at people who survived childhood diseases.
