Oh yeah, I have been there for a long time now. Just mention FDA warnings about medications or well known side effects to see just how deeply ignorant doctors are...

I once asked my optometrist about a study done which results showed correlation between nearsightedness and a lack of natural sunlight exposure. His response was something along the lines of "Well.. just wear your sunglasses when out in full sun."

Interesting. I wonder if it has something to do with eye muscles relaxing more in low light environments causing a long term change in the shape of the eye.

Kind of like the correlation between prescription strength and how long people have been wearing glasses for.

Then again it would be hard to differentiate between the natural changes due to muscular entropy.

I suppose there could be a long term study involving light therapy or something.

I did that once, apparently the medication they gave me was very known for giving.... heart attacks. They still prescribed it and when people tell them to prescribe something else, they give. you ... another medication that also gives you heart attacks. Just said screw it, and stopped taking the meds completely, stil not dead, and feel just fine

My friend is a urologist, and I had to convince him to look at the black box warning, which he had no idea there was one, on the medication he routinely prescribed.

Excellent doctoring on your part, GritD2!

Modern Plumbing, Adequate Ventilation, The Electric Refrigerator, Access to Hand Soap.

Doctors claim modern medicine is the reason lifespans kept getting longer.

They are wrong. It was mostly civil engineers and soap companies.

Read plato’s republic. 375 BC. It says the average lifespan was 70 years old. Wtf happened? With all this modern medicine we’re basically still the same?

[–] 1 pt

Do you want actual scientific evidence or my best guess?

Most average lifespan stats includes infant mortality rates. I haven't checked to see if platos republic stats does.

[–] 1 pt

It does not. Plato's only looking at people who survived childhood diseases.

Just found out today that someone who wouldn't stfu about getting vaxx'd during the lockdowns, who tried to shame and bully anyone unfortunate enough to be around them at the time, currently has cv, again.

This person has taken 4 jabs.

They still believe in the psy-ience though.

If they were real doctors they’d do their own research too.

It's not the doctors knowledge that is the problem, it's the fact they're using it to make money off of you, not to help you.

Doctors follow what the ama says without question.
