If you want to see how advanced computer graphics were in 1971 see THX 1138. George Lucas's first video nobody knew about. I will warn you, the first half is so boring you'll nearly turn it off, especially if you're watching with others and you can't take responsibility for it's boringness. It *starts* to move right around the halfway mark. But the last 10 or 20 minutes light up.
