As far as I know the English queen, in comparison to the Swedish king who has zero powers, had one power, the power to say no to legislation. In my opinion the more people that can stop new laws the better. Now the queen did not use that power even once, she could have saved UK but she didn't. That is critique against her though and not against the system.
