galadriel is a high elf. “Galadriel..is the last remaining of the great among the high elves” -J.R.R Tolkien letters 144 as far as i know she never actively battles anyone. her power is more inferred by other characters descriptions of her and tolkien himself, like, “Lady Galadrial....was of the Noldor and remembered the day before days in Valinor, and she was the mightiest and fairest of all the elves that remained in middle earth.” -The Silmarillion but she's definitely pivotal for many events, for example she's the one who established the white council and is the one who rescues gandalf / heals him / dresses him in white.
