What nation and how much power the king wields
How much money the rich man offers
What religion the priest belongs to
Honestly, I could have stopped at the morals and religion of the sellsword.
I can't blame you for that conclusion.
The answer to the riddle however is that it matters not who lives or dies in that room. it does not matter why. It does not matter who has what morals. It does not matter who has what power and who has what capital. The only true winner is the one who maneuvered the lot into that room and who had the door barred until the work was done.
That was my next line of thought, but I was done on the toilet and it was time to get up.
