I can't blame you for that conclusion. The answer to the riddle however is [that it matters not who lives or dies in that room. it does not matter why. It does not matter who has what morals. It does not matter who has what power and who has what capital. The only true winner is the one who maneuvered the lot into that room and who had the door barred until the work was done. ](#spoiler)
