I never stated that it wasn't the basis after you and others began noting claims that it is. I did not challenge these claims despite that none have provided evidence of this being the origin along with the claim. I've not asked for such evidence as it is easy enough to check if I wanted to. I don't care if it is or is not the basis. Now, anyway. Before I made my initial statement that it was merely another of the many memes of this format, I should have done that check first to verify that it was. I was in error for presuming that this image was just another meme of the same format. However, equally in error is your making the statement that this image is "clearly" the origin. Others simply stated that it is the basis, and I did not and do not challenge those claims. However, you stating that it *clearly* is the basis is the reason that I mockingly parroted your statement in response. No, it is not "clearly" the basis. To claim it is "clearly" the origin is asinine. Is it the basis? Probably. If others say it is, I don't challenge those claims. I do not really care. Is it "clearly" the basis? No, it is not.
