I didnt lose any relationship over not being vaxxed. My wife followed my lead and the only kid I have old enough to have his own opinion was constantly getting in trouble for not masking up at school so yea he's cool. The only pressure I got to get vaxxed came from my mom. she started her ranting and I just waited for her to start repeating shit then I told her I dont care and changed the subject. None of my vaxxd friends(a little over half) really cared what I did. When they brought it up I approached it like every other contentious conversation I get into. Which is calmly explaining my thought process that led to my decision. This whole thing opened with a bunch of lies, I dont trust Trump, I dont trust big pharma, Fauci is an evil little fucker, look how much money big pharma is making off this bullshit. All of you tested positive for this shit already and are fine. My joke is you cant get COVID if you dont get tested for it. Expound a little bit on the absurdity of waiting in a huge line of sick people to test postive for something and be offered no treatment. I will say I lie to my customers that ask me if im vaxxed at work and tell them Im jabbed. I put a high value on honesty, but I dont feel bad about lying to them at all. Uppity vaxxed people have no interest in the truth anyway, so they dont deserve any of my honesty. Im not gonna break their cognitive dissonance anyway. I need the money from them so yeah I just tell them what they want to hear like everyone else in their world does. Sorry for your lost relationships. Dont hold it against them.
