Sure not everyone will be stranded, but inconvenience will happen. Im stuck waiting for parts for my van. This time it was only 4 days. but 2 years ago it was 25 days. Lucky for me i could drive but i know road folks who've had to fly or take a bus to a relatives house and wait it out. I did actually have a buddy who got marooned in mexico city for 2 months waiting on a part for his vw bus. But anyway, glad your experience so far has been pleasant.
