I don't know about the rest but Australia is freezing, not warming. Christmas day used to be 40+ celcius, last few years it's maybe 32-34. I could count the days over 34 on both hands, over 38 on one hand. Used to be several weeks of 40+ every summer. Also winter's never reached lower than about 4 degrees... at the worst, at 6am... this year there is ice on the windows at noon, and it sits between -2 and 6 all day and night. It's fucking insane. I'd say a noticible 6+ degree drop in temperature all around.
