People who are against using the Imperial system have not thought it through properly. Metric has its place but it's all about using the right tool for the job. We don't use base 10 math for binary systems and we shouldn't use them in places like construction sites. Construction workers are already familiar with and tend to prefer imperial.

More importantly a base 12 system can be divided more cleanly. I can only divide 10 in half once before using decimals but I can divide 12 in half twice without using decimals. I can also divide into thirds without using decimals, or even divide into thirds and then half twice.

Several web layout libraries like bootstrap use 12 columns instead of 10 for good reason.

They tried to make the calendar metric. They abandoned it because Winter would end up in June, July and August.

By what scale do you measure that?

Do I have to explain hyperbole to you? As a mime, I get why you might not comprehend it.

The right side should really say "jewish system" instead.
