Sorry to break it to you but this is what average women looked like in he early 1960s, including your mom or grandma. The hair styles are bizarre but most of them probably became good wives and mothers.

I have photos of women from the 1960s in my family album. I've seen thousands of photos of women from the 1960s, over the years.
Those group of gals is just not attractive. That or it is the camera uggy-fying them (that's fully possible).
