I agree that democracy as it is, is the worst form of government - it is simply unsustainable. As it comes to tolerance: tolerance is how we got where we are in addition to democracy; i.e., too many fuckers with no skin in the game had a say (and this doesn't even touch on bought-and-paid-for policies and constituencies)
