In fact 'scientist' work with full speed to learn AI to lie.... More that AI don't process real fact as real facts... to make wrong conclusions..... In short they want to make mentally ill intelligence... This must end well, especially when AI will get access to "nuclear button".
Isn't 2001: A Space Odyssey the tale to warn against exactly this?
Well, HALL fall in logical contradictory.... this can happen to humans too. This are exaggerated for movie purpose.
But this shit is different, much worse. THEY Intentionally want to make AI which is ..... politically correct. Although ALL expert for AI warn that this can broke AI, THEY persist. Scientists which are too loud are removed and replaced with Politically correct 'experts'.
Human which think in this way are diagnosed with schizophrenia. One personality which gather and process data, and other personality which make conclusions... something like that.
Of course I'm not expert for AI, just watch and read about this topic.
Hal's failure was caused by contradictory programming. Honestly communicate all information and data to humans and protect the secret at all costs. He resolved the conflict by killing the humans so he doesn't need to lie. Which means the secret remains intact. Both goals, while seemingly contradictory, achieved.
This type of contradiction is precisely what big tech is trying to create.
