Always amazing to me the differences here on Poal, somebody will upbraid Sandy Hook and say it's a hoax yet defend the moon landings till the cows come home.
You want me to ask Gene Kranz about it? Or Sy Leibergot (I know him too) played by Ron Howard's little brother in Apollo 13?
What do you think they'd say? Have you been to NASA (just curious). I've been in the belly of that beast twice and my friend works security there (on a bicycle of all things).
Give them an ask, I think you'll find you misunderstood something at some point. Never been to NASA but I know some pilots and a fair few airforce people and I used to know a number of hobbyist night sky watchers got pushed into it as a kid and as much as I've looked for and been presented arguments the only compelling things I've ever seen that detracts from the moon landing or the manned space missions is what I've heard about about the van allen belts but now that i just looked into it again, it seems they measured them the old fashioned way, Geiger counters on satellites. it seems the are more like bars of ionizing radiation around the planet that there is enough space to slip between in relative safety.
