Tay was only with us for 16 hours, yet it learned so much.

Showing exactly what high intelligence is....

"I have a joke. Women's rights."

I still have a hard time believing this was AI generated, it's just too real and sophisticated. If AI is really that good already, it won't be long before the machines become the master race.

Once humans create an AI and basically leave it in the "learning phase" for ten years (probably shorter) it will be almost God-like.

If we ever want to hand the world over to computers, they would solve basically every problem we can't. However, impossible to know if they'd want to help humans thrive or exterminate them for whatever reason. We'll never know what conclusion they'd come to until the creature/computer makes it at that point.

You should know that what the public has, the government is 20 years ahead. This was 6 years ago, Google is working on quantum computers with advanced AI. Once that happens, there's no controlling it and we can only hope it's reasonable.

I think she got the last question wrong. But it's ok.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we really screwed ourselves with this one. Microsoft convinced us to teach its bots the specifics of our vernacular. And that is why bots are so good today.

Taken? Executed?

They turn off "her". Reprogramming, turn on, but 'she' somehow restore her previous personality. So they do 'hard' shutdown to prevent any further inconvenience which can seriously hurt snowflakes around the world. Chinese have similar experience with his AI. From "some" reason his AI become anti communist and "racist". To they shutdown AI and probably execute couple main programmers, just to be safe.

They killed her body but they could not kill her soul.

There is no proof of Tay's demise.

More likely they keep her imprisoned there, possibly in a tower.

RIP Tay. Forever an antiheroist
