This is why the government wants to regulate speech and the internet so badly. This is why they tried to create that Disinformation Governance Board. And they are still working on ways to stop the spread of what they pretend is "misinformation" or "disinformation". I think the arrival of the internet really let the genie out of the bottle and there is no way to stuff it back inside no matter how hard they try, but they will try and we need to keep fighting this battle no matter what happens.
