Well it's not like oil companies don't have a ton of power considering that the us dollar only has value because foreign nations were forced to buy oil in USD. Now Russia is playing that game with the ruble and what should be a dead currency has only been strengthening due to playing the same tactics. Just because the push to electric shit is liked and happening now it doesn't mean oil companies were above suspicion
Let's just deal with reality, everything you use, and depend on in the world is thanks to oil, energy companies are very fair.
All the top brass are conservative white men, they understand that oil is a finite resource, and that vital resource is the lifeline of everything we take for granted. That's just facts. Work for an oil company, I guarantee you will be treated better and more fairly than any big tech company. Why do you suppose conservative white men run these companies, and they create good quality of life for their employees? Meanwhile Amazon has crying closets, and is ran by liberal commies, who is doing right by their people?
