There are numerous very healthy vegans.
Prove it. How many healthy vegans are there after 10 years? 20 years?
It's a bullshit fad diet that did not stand up to the test of time. It is also retardedly illogical. IF humans could live on only non meat, then we would NEVER have wasted the energy or taken the risks to hunt game. No, meat is a required part of our diet. We need vitamins that are only found in meat and denying that nature is going to get them killed.
A radio Dr. I've listened to for years, Dr. Jennifer Daniels, was vegan for 21 years. She had chronic all sorts of problems and she never connected it to the vegan thing because belief in it is like a religion. When she woke up and started eating fat, butter, eggs etc. she recovered from all of it. She routinely treats vegans for especially chronic illness which sets in, according to her, usually at 12-13 years into a steady vegan life. She cures them by having them buy a rib-eye with the fattiest outer ring, and buy some salt free butter and some eggs. She recommends non pasteurized butter but good luck finding that. She tells them she doesn't care if they eat the meat on the steak, but they must eat the fat. Eat a stick of butter a day for the next two weeks, eat eggs every day, more if you are heavier. Also, cook the steak in the right thing, lard, bacon grease or olive oil (regular) and always avoid seed oils.
correct, 90% vegans are a revolving door. people try it feel great, then a year later feel like shit and move on to normal eating.
My point and yours aren’t mutually exclusive. If the necessary nutrients are being taken in, the source really doesn’t matter.
That said, vegans are fucking stupid. It’s like a wind -powered car. It works, but it’s a fucking stupid thing to do.
