You're tourist-level assumptions about what a cheesesteak is reveal your ignorance.
Also, cheesesteaks aren't even close to the best sandwich in Philly
Dude, I've eaten 'steaks at the famous Geno's in Horsham, so shove that tourist shit right up your vuvuzela. It's just fucking OK. They are the only sandwiches I ever contemplated using hot sauce on, because they are so fucking bland and the meat is drowned by the cheese. And about half the sammiches they serve don't use the white American cheese, they use the fucking canned cheez whiz shit. That alone should tell you just how not-top-tier the Philly Cheesesteak is.
What the fuck else you got? The fact that you renamed the "sub" to a "hoagie?" Get the fuck outta here with that shit!
The best sandwich in the world is a BLT on toasted San Francisco sourdough, with fresh home-made mayonnaise, cool ripe heirloom tomatoes grown in California, crisp ripe lettuce grown in California, and double-thick-sliced bacon made on-site at Dittmer's Wurst House in, you guessed it, California. But you'll have to pay an additional 9.25 % for the sammich, because California sucks.
I'd fight you if I wasn't so turned on.
