There's a few out there making brain chips. Best option for people who have a medical need.

Depends on if they open source it or not. Elon is the type to open source. Still some 3rd party has to review the code. Would be nice if someone making this technology could be trusted.

There is a mechanical disconnect on the current nuralink as far as I know. That's also important. I'm curious how bad damage could be if near an EMP, and ability to use an MRI.

There's also detachable types of kernal is a helmet. Seems to only read the brain.

Reading the brain is one thing, as long as you can control the data. Even if you lose the data it's like getting doxxed.

But writing data, is something else. These things can help with bandwidth. But if data control is lost, it's like getting raped by someone with an STD
