The Ukrainians were not only given high tech weapons and money by us, but respond to a tank by blocking the street and singing their national anthem until the russians shot teargas.
In europe, if you'd sing the national anthem on the street in a patriotic manner, you can consider yourself lucky if that's not a hate crime.
But you can safely fly ulrainian flags in europe and the us.
If this is a farm, the ukrainians are the farmers beloved dogs, and we are the farmers abused pigs and sheep.
And you may think this horrible for the ukrainians because being ruled by russia would be so based for them and they'd have more freedom, but consider that

I don't know enough about Ukraine to argue. Their leader is a Jew, and I'd like to think the rest aren't, but I don't know.

There is no remaining based nation of note. America is still the closest, but only because of its citizens, and we're not doing so well either. It seems everyone toes the line. It is sad.
