Not far from where I live in TX there is a small town that was in the news a couple years ago. It had a pop. of a couple 100 and had a state hiway going thru it. They made 85% of the town budget in traffic fines from their speed trap.

Got to roll through some construction the other day, guess where the construction sign was... Right in front of the speed limit sign of all places
