A country is as strong as it's people, and right now amerkia is very crippled. The military has been restructured to favor diversity instead of merit, and as a result: equipment is not ready, service men are not ready, and the senior leadership lacks discipline.
The government is funded by debt, not tax revenues, so even if world war three breaks out we would not be able to participate unless we stopped all the entitlements.
We celebrate diversity and degeneracy instead of merit. Granted, that's a self correcting problem. We are not in a good position, and it will either take a disaster or something significant to shake us out of this.
