And Europe too, we are getting fucked hard by these sanctions "against" Russia.

I actually find it extremely hard to believe that nobody took into account all of the impact that Russian sanctions would inflict, ffs everybody knew what Russia exports and how the insane just-in-time global supply chain would be effected. Even Trump knew that Europe would be absolutely crushed should it ever get into conflict with The Bear simply because of Europe's energy dependence.
Every top level policy maker knew what would happen across the board and yet they still went ahead and then doubled down. These sanctions are not leveled at Russia they are leveled at us.

I'm starting to think that the quote that I heard from a retired American Diplomat: "we will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian"
needs to be updated to "we will fight Russia to the last European".
