In a culture that screws married men, the smart ones don't get married. Meanwhile the women are looking for a guy to marry but all the good ones won't do it. So they gamble, wait and only have 1 or 2 kids if they're lucky or marry a dipshit and have more kids earlier but most likely end up divorced because only stupid men want to get married.

Build up you fortune, share it with a wife who "accidentally" gets pregnant immediately (sorry, your mom said i didnt need to take my birth control), quits working to raise the kids, and who cheats on you when the kids go off to school. She does this becuase she no longer works but wants the lifestyle you had when you both were working, so now you are never home to pay attention to her... At the 10 year mark she files for divorce. Lifetime alimony and 10 + years of child support. In spite of making 200k a year, you are living in a tun down apt while she takes 70% of your income and 50% of your future returement and enjoys life at the country club with her tennis pro that she has been seeing since the young one was 7.

Or, enjoy your money with a new model every year girlfriend who is horny and will be a companion when needed.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE FOR THE MALE?

Divorce court assumes women can't work, and the man is in the wrong. Uphill battle to have custody, and the woman and kids must have the same lifestyle they were accustomed to.

I didn't choose a solitary life at all. I was widowed. I am dating someone. I was pointing out how hard it is to find a guy that wants to get married and that is also worth marrying.
