If the pro-gun community were smart they'd know that you don't argue against the government, they'd place the argument with their neighbours, maybe the neutral ones who watch the news and are susceptible to its fear mongering. Don't argue with a politician they're there with an agenda. Power comes from the homogenous decision of the people, not from some person in a political seat. They're just meant to be a representative of the voice, however that voice has been highjacked by people with money.
