Sounds like pretty much what I know / remember to be history education in high daycare. That and the exact dates of every battle in the civil war. Useless shit information. First wake up history class I ever took was the WW1 and WW2 classes I took in college. Learning shit like WW2 was really a rebuke of the cruel treaty of versailles, and switzerland was magically not a part of either despite being *right* in the middle of it all. For bullshit reasons of course.
