Oh it depends on the reader but I see what you mean. It's 50/50, roughly, as far as I'm concerned. Some people will look at the bible in multiple ways, compare translations, research the historical context, try to figure out what is really implied in the studied bit, while others will just stick to one dogmatic interpretation and literally give zero thoughts of their own. I think it depends on how your relationship to the bible, the religions, the faith, has been transmitted to you, some people aren't allowed to question anything when it comes to it, while others have been left on their own
