We should have equality yes - In the form of abandoning the archaic practice of marriage in the exception of a protected religious practice* For the idiots, this means only religious marriages would now be allowed, no more getting married while high on drugs in a Las Vegas casino by a pimp dressed as Elvis Presley. Non religious and LGBT people have exactly zero need for marriage. There was the aspect of legal shit like spousal decisions in medical and financial matters, so separate all that shit from marriage and make it available to anyone that wants it without being married.
