I skimmed through the video at high speed and I saw lots of aluminum or magnesium alloy in the casing, heat spreaders and other mechanical parts, but there was no significant copper to be found other than the PC board traces. Their is some gold plating on the connectors and parts of the PCBs, but that's a very thin layer and you need a lot of boards to recover any significant amount of gold from them. There most definitely wasn't any platinum either since there is no need for it in such an application. Did you see anything different than what I did in this video? Give me a timestamp on the video where 11 pounds of copper or 1 pound of platinum can be found.
The discussion in this thread started to mention nobody knowing what these things looked like. I remember recently coming across this video so I posted it with no stance either way.

Ah, got it. Thanks for the video. I hadn't seen the inside of one of these tower units and it is interesting to see how they handle the RF power amplification.
