This is the most correct reason. It applies to other races tied up in crime as well. Don't forget that white men are the most commonly shot and killed people by police. Lack of critical thinking, foresight, and self-control. Some of it is mental health issues. Some of them are mentally handicap.

The 10 unarmed black men shot and killed by police each year pales in comparison to the 24 unarmed white men shot and killed by police.

To be honest, I've never heard that said about cops, but I have absolutely said that about criminals.

I'm assuming its not specifically local, but catalytic converter theft rings operate rampantly in my area right now.

I hear this, I read this, many times. In fact, this is true. Police job are very stressful, danger. Have some benefits, advantage, but in general there are many jobs with similar salary which are less demanding. After all you will know that no one will call you in middle of night because there is some "situation" and you must appear in station ASAP. This is not fair.... but they chose this job. Just like criminals.

There's the rub:

Erm I don’t hear that for cops. Look at chauvin. One single misjustice or death against one single cop and its the end of the world.

Cops get their revenge 1000 fold. You do one single thing to one of them, they’ll go out and kill hundreds preemptively.
