First one had to be either #6 or #7. I think I had a #4 very briefly as a throw-away at one point.

About a No. 7, it was a Motorola with a little stubby antenna & a green flashing light that show cell connection-

My folks had 12. My first one was 14. I liked the horizontal slider phones. Could text fast as shit on those with T9.

lol I had 12 until the network called to tell me they were dropping coverage for it. I told them I would drop them and they gave me my first smartphone free of charge.

I think I got mine somewhere between 1 and 18.

Before #1. It was wired into the car and had an antenna on the trunk.

We had a CB in the car, way before that! I remember when we upgraded to one with 40 channels...

That was the thing for sure. Talked my Pop into a Craig 8-Tract to replace the CB. Ah, the simplest of times. Lol

#7 for about 4 years, then #12 for a few years, then #14 for a few more. I loved when phone batteries last 5 - 7 days on a charge and you had an extra battery in a charging cradle so you could just swap out a fully-charged battery.

12 I was the last person I know to get a cell phone.

Mine was 14 the Razr, got it in middle school so I could call my mom after track practice. Felt nice to have a little freedom. Didn't get another phone until after senior year. I miss looking at the more simple things on the Razr. Calculator, calendar, etc. I didn't learn T9 until I was 20 haha.

I also remember sending messages to a number and it would answer your questions. I forgot the name of it, you could learn cool facts though.
