This is similar to what happened with SARS-CoV-2: it was just a far more deadly strain of a coronavirus increasing in both R0 and virility.

That is absolutely false. The testing is being done currently, on the population. There was VERY little testing done before the rollout. Most vaccines go through 6 to 10 years of testing before they get released to the public. You really think this vaccine that came out in less than a single year is the most tested in history?
