I used to bring pictures of black lungs home for my mother to see so she would quit smoking. Didn’t work. Social shaming has worked to help smokers quit and others not to start, more than any black lung pics, or anything else has for that matter.

I know. I didn’t make up the social psychological protocol, it was something, I observed. It happens all the time. Funny thing, when AIDS came along, the propaganda was adverse to social shaming. F them all. I’m not saying one thing is right and the other is wrong, I’m just saying. (Just let me alone right now.)
