I find that complex one especially irritating.
any time everyone in the room can't be made happy or two ideas directly conflict, they will resort to the "well it's difficult" or "I see both sides and it's really complex issues here"
So often the answer is "no, it isn't complex at all. One person is wrong, they are just going to have to be sad and deal with it"
Why should someone be sad at being wrong? Does being wrong hurt you that much that you project anyone else feeling that, has essentially been crushed? Hmm.
Isn't wonder and being wrong the appeal of magicians and their tricks?
no I don't mind being wrong.
the scenario I was imagining is someone like Tim the bini guy trying to fence sit and not just pick a side cause he doesn't want to risk hurting someone's feelings.
IDK guy is pretty opinionated, picking a corporate approved side is no mark of being decisive.
Rarely, I do really feel that way though. Like the shape of the earth, both sides make good points and I'm not smart enough to actually do the complex math myself.
