All of my co-workers, my neighbors and the workers in my co-op building all know that I haven't worn a mask or been vaxed all of this time. Now some of them know that both jobs that were threatening to fire me for no vax and a few know that I won that battle, too. They'll be wearing a mask 20 years from now in their coffins. They cannot acknowledge the fact that they were taken for a ride and that I was right all along. This is like Asian culture in that they have no humility and are all about saving face at this point.

I overhead a guy at work. "I'm going to keep wearing these masks even after this is done. It just makes sense. Why not protect yourself."

How do you deal with living in NYC? You must feel like you're the only sane person there most of the time. Sure we have a lot of idiots here, but I'd imagine in NYC you're downing in it. I feel that would wear me down dealing with it all the time.
If can be demoralizing, but I have like 8 friends who are all or mostly of the same mindset regarding Commies, Jews, Masks, Vax, Nogs, etc., so that helps. Unfortunately, my entire family is deeply brainwashed.
That is good you have likeminded friends.
Sucks about the family situation.
Have pity on them. They are feeble minded. Cognitive dissonance is very real.
